Morimoto Waikiki is a high-profile dining destination that brings contemporary Japanese cuisine to the heart of Honolulu. Our firm was responsible for the architectural design of the restaurant, working in close collaboration with Thomas Schoos, who led the interior design of the space.

The architectural scope focused on shaping the restaurant’s spatial organization, structural framework, and integration with the outdoor establishing a strong architectural foundation that supports both the culinary experience and the interior design vision. Careful attention was given to circulation, ceiling volumes, and the relationship between dining areas, bar, and back-of-house functions to ensure operational efficiency and a seamless guest experience.
