Cardiff

Interior remodel of a three-story ocean-view home in Cardiff, completed in two phases. The first phase focused on the upper-level main living spaces, where new La Cantina doors were introduced to fully open the patio and create seamless indoor–outdoor living. The scope included full architectural services, interior design, and FF&E, with a kitchen designed to reflect the homeowners’ preference for minimal, modern aesthetics. A restrained approach was taken, centered around a large waterfall-edge island complemented by warm woods, Artemide lighting, and highly practical details within a light, bright palette suited to the clients’ professional and practical lifestyle.

The second phase addressed the lower level, including the primary bedroom and bathroom as well as a guest bedroom and bathroom. Existing client furniture with subtle mid-century references was thoughtfully integrated into the new design, reinforcing continuity throughout the home while honoring the coastal setting and the homeowners’ sensibilities.
